Lynn Cochrane, founder and president of Express Communications,
has been successfully addressing communications issues and problems
for her corporate clients for the past twenty years. Her degree from
the University of Wisconsin in Communicative Disorders, a background
in radio advertising and her years in education are the key
ingredients in shaping today's unique Express Communications
philosophy.
Founded in 1982, the Minneapolis-based Company initially offered
simply a basic speaker training program to a handful of local
clients. Now, the company has a long list of highly visible national
clients in many sectors of American corporate life: the financial
arena, professional sports, the food and retail industries, and the
media, to name a few.
Currently, Express Communications is structured to provide
clients with three types of communications services: Small group
seminars, personal coaching and keynote speeches.
Small group seminars are conducted by a select group of highly
trained instructors. They provide client companies with high
quality, results oriented seminars in all areas of verbal
communications (see training programs). Each seminar is customized
to meet the needs of specific companies and then personalized to
meet the needs of individual participants.
Personal Coaching has become very attractive in preparing
business leaders for such important, high impact presentations and
appearances as shareholder meetings, "state of the
company" speeches, roadshows, important sales
"pitches" and media appearances. Tight time schedules and
the need for confidentiality and personal attention have played key
roles in spawning this demand for personal coaching.
Requests for Keynote Speeches has increased as Express
Communications' visibility has grown. Lynn Cochrane's personal
energy and enthusiasm and her industry knowledge have made her
popular with audiences from coast to coast for keynote addresses,
training presentations and customized speeches.
Express Communications has grown dramatically over the past
twenty years. Yet, it has remained consistently faithful to the
founding principles and values that have fostered its development:
training and coaching that focuses on tangible and measurable
results, a commitment to small training groups and customized
training programs.
